Saturday at the Natural Science Center

Saturday was spent at the Natural Science Center with the entire Hoots Clan. The weather was beautiful and our kids love all the animals. Here are a couple shots... My three monkeys.

Ethan and his cousin Gavin at the Tiger exhibit

(sorry the lighting is so bad, I was trying to get the tigers in the background).

We even saw the tigers charge each other!!!

It was a little scary to us, but the workers have told us before

this is normal tiger behavior, like brothers and sisters arguing.

Grandma and Grandaddy with their 5 grandchildren.

Gavin, age 5.

Ethan, age 4.

Isaac and Olivia, age 1.

And, Liam, age (almost) 4 months.

that cow kind of freaks me out. and also, one time when we were there, one of the staff was doing a "test" with the other staff to make sure they would know how to handle a missing animal emergency. so we heard him walkie-talkie someone that he only had "one tiger in view" and that they needed to do a "lockdown". and i'm standing right down there with both of my kids. and i looked at him, and said, "seriously?" and he said, "no, i'm just doing a test." but you better believe i walked pretty quickly back up to the building. your fam's so cute!

It looks like everyone had a blast- I love that place, grew up going there myself!

“When I was young, I said to God, 'God, tell me the mystery of the universe.' But God answered, 'That knowledge is for me alone.' So I said, 'God, tell me the mystery of the peanut.' Then God said, 'Well George, that's more nearly your size.' And he told me.”- George Washington Carver
